PromptFork

A prompt library where prompts carry receipts — find one that worked, copy it, fork it, make it yours.

promptfork.app — find, copy and fork prompts that worked

The idea

Code got version control and everything changed. Prompts are still passed around like napkin sketches. PromptFork gives a working prompt what a working function gets: a home, a history, and a fork button.

The build

Supabase holds the library and lineage. The Studio runs a two-stage pipeline — plain-language intent in, production prompt out. Upstash rate-limiting guards the generous parts. The repo splits cleanly: infrastructure open, sauce private.

The lesson it carries

The first domain died while I was busy elsewhere — promptwriter.app is gone. Instead of mourning it, the product came back with a better name. Domains lapse; the work compounds.

Go touch it

promptfork.app is live. Search for what you're trying to do — somebody's already fought that prompt battle.
